Enjoy
my English, Enjoy my life
Hello! My name is Lucy, I am a student from
beautiful Inner Mongolia, I am 14 years old and I’m a lively
girl.
Everybody has got his own special experience and one of them
always affects his whole life, so do I! My mother is a good
English teacher. I am very proud of her! And that’s the only
reason I so strongly loved English when I was a child!
Last
summer, I went to Beijing, and joined one special English Camp.important
experience for my English and also for my life! In the summer
camp, there was a foreign teacher, an assistant teacher and
a life teacher in my class!
The foreign teacher who is from USA is named Divaded. He is
a pretty humorous guy. I have learned a lot from him. And his
teaching way impressed me a lot! I think the most important
thing he gave me is not only the knowledge but also character-building,
which I will never forget!
When I thought of something
that is too difficult, the first thing that came into my mind
is to give up!
However that special moment
moved me deeply; I was encouraged unforgettably by him,” You
should not consider things themselves are difficult, English
is not only about grammar and vocabulary, but about different
cultures, it took a long time to learn that, Only confidence
and hard work is the way to this success. Just take it easy
and trust yourself, you can make it, It is easy for you, you
little smart girl!” By now, that very conversation is still
reverberating around me!
These words definitely affected me and encouraged
me a lot for the rest of camp life! I became more confident
and more special! During that summer, we had many interesting
classes and activities. We went to Beijing Mutianyu Great Wall,
we communicated bravely with a lot of foreign visitors in English,
I never give up myself to any difficulties! The life teacher
took good care of us. She didn’t go to bed until we go to sleep!
We were all moved a lot by her caring! And the assistant teacher
also can speak very good English! When we had difficulties,
she always explained them patiently!
I love this camp experience
very much! Twelve days of camp played a very important role
in my life! I was touched deeply through my experience with
the foreign teacher.
